First Friday Boulder Street Gallery

New works in watercolor, oil, and acrylic from 26 members of the Pikes Peak Watercolor Society. Featured artists in January include Barbara Will-Wallace and Jack Malloch.

Will-Wallace, a former art teacher, has spent 15 years mastering watercolor techniques of color, light, and design to capture the glory of nature, from expansive mountain vistas to the detailed delicacy of flowers. Malloch's acrylics on canvas focus on the effects of light – grey days, twilight, sunrise, sunset, and strong shadows, striving for feelings of mood and a little mystery.
