First Friday Downtown: Kathleen Fowler at Cottonwood on Tejon Gallery

Kathleen Fowler paints to convey feelings of awe inspired by her life, the people in it, nature and the Creator. Using music to neutralize her feelings, Kathleen chooses a piece of music or a song to play while painting each piece and plays the same piece of music or song until that particular painting is finished. She represents herself in her paintings and lets loose with colors or strokes, controlling the piece by choosing its completion.
