Folk 'n' Flannel Festival and Fundraiser COVID Edition

A unique fundraiser for the nonprofit UpaDowna with a focus on folk music and flannel attire. This is a fun, outdoor camping event you don’t want to miss!

Please read ALL of the following as registration has changed since last year due to the pandemic. Be sure to follow the instructions for admission, lodging, and signing up to be a volunteer if that is something you would like to do!
In the midst of the COVID-19 pandemic, all guests will be required to wear a mask (each guest will receive a Special Edition Folk ‘n’ Flannel mask upon arrival). Social distancing will be encouraged at the event (tent spaces will be 6 feet apart in all directions and guests are required to bring their own tent chairs for the band performances to reduce the spread of the virus).
Outdoor activities will be by sign up and will be limited to the specific number of participants outlined and mandated by the state of Colorado during the time of the event. Because the event has to be on a smaller scale, which has severely limited our programming for the year, this fundraiser is a much bigger deal for UpaDowna than in past years as the funds we raise will help to keep us afloat for the year.

Instructions for Purchasing Tickets: (Follow these steps when buying tickets) Average price for one day is $70 and includes: Folk ‘n’ Flannel mask, accommodations, complimentary breakfast, discounted lunch in Manitou and discounted food truck dinner, first 2 drinks, access to heated pool, all entertainment including musical 8-9 performances and ALL outdoor activities the next day (Hiking Manitou Incline, SUP Yoga, Open SUP, Yoga, Zumba, Hike in GoG, Bike through GoG, Kids Camp/Family Activities).
Please read the following instructions as registration has changed due to the event taking place at a new venue:
Step 1: Choose who’s going. You? Your family? You and your friends? Your dog?? Order tickets for the appropriate numbers.
Step 2: Choose where you’re staying. Are you camping in a van, tenting it, staying in a room at Buffalo Lodge (50% for the first two weeks tickets are on sale)? Make sure to select the nights that you will be staying in the accommodation of your choosing. If you are staying in a tent for both nights – select “Tent Space FRI & SAT” and get $10 off. If you are planning on staying in rooms at the lodge you must select for the nights you are staying (if that is both nights you must select that room for both the FRI ONLY and SAT ONLY options). Only some rooms are pet friendly and these will go on a first come first serve basis. **** When selecting a room, if you are planning on booking that room for both FRI and SAT of the event you MUST select FRI Only and SAT Only options. If you do not, someone else can book the room for the day you did not select, the same goes for van spots. ****
Step 3: Choose your activities, sign up to compete in the Cornhole Tournament or Facial Hair Frenzy (a mustache and beard competition)! All outdoor activities are free and all are FUN!
Competitions: Not only do you raise money for UpaDowna but winners of the Facial Hair Frenzy go home with sweet products to tame their mane and the team who wins cornhole gets their very own set of boards!! GOOD LUCK!
Admission- is $40/adult (21+) for one night, $70/adult for both nights. $20/per child (6-20) for one night, $30/per child for both nights.
8/17-8/31: Selecting a room at the lodge will be 50% off (price shown is with discount already included).
9/1-9/15: Selecting a room at the lodge will be 25% off (price shown is with discount already applied).
9/15-9/30: Selecting a room at the lodge will be done by you through direct booking on the Buffalo Lodge website. Buffalo Lodge rooms will no longer be available on EventBrite.
