Friday Night Creative Chill: Acrylic Photo Transfer Paintings

Transfer painting celebrates the ethereal nature of light-based art, the human signature of pigment-based mark making, and the printer's tradition in one exhilarating fell swoop.

Our project begins with a photographic print (a variety will be provided in class) that we will beautifully alter and transfer onto wood or canvas and then top off with expressive overpainting using techniques that anyone can learn.

Rookie painters and seasoned pros alike will be thrilled with the outcome!
