Handmade Art Books for Beginners

Ever wanted to make your own book? Now is your chance! Mixed Media Artists Amelia Furman and Tracie Jenkins will be coming to 45 Degree Gallery to instruct students in the basics of making an handmade book using collage techniques demoed by Amelia and book construction guided by Tracie.

These two teachers will give step by step instructions so that you can take your knowledge and apply it to more book projects at home.

Amelia and Tracie will provide samples and have materials to supplement the creation of three different themes: Favorite Recipes, Favorite Family Memories and Favorite Quotes.

These beautiful, personalized books can be great keepsakes or gifts. All the supplies are included and the gallery will be providing lunch, but be sure to bring at least 8 family memories, recipes or quotes to use in your book.
