Happy Ducking Valentine's Day

It’s a very special event at Gather! It’s our Happy Ducking Valentine’s Online Cooking Class & Plate Date! We know it’s still hard to get out for a date night. Why not make a special meal at home with your Valentine using our simple Recipe Kit? Or better yet, follow along with our pre-recorded video and surprise your sweetie with a romantic, gourmet meal at home.

Take a quick 3-course culinary tour of Europe in your home! We may not be able to travel, but we CAN teach you how to make out-of-this the world flavors in your very own kitchen.

On the menu:

• Mini Spanish Chorizo & Cheese Tortillas (similar to mini quiche, Spanish tortillas are a very popular tapa)
• Duck a l’orange with Duck Fat Potatoes and Seasonal Vegetable
• Italian Flourless Chocolate Torte with Marsala Berries
• Freshly Baked Baguette with Local Butter
• Surprise Valentine Treats!! (No, we can’t tell you what they are…)

This online class is a special event and one of a kind!  This 2-Hour Online Cooking Class will be pre-recorded so that you can enjoy an intimate cooking experience in the privacy of your own kitchen, at your own pace. Follow along while Dave & Cortney cook and pause if you need to!  We’ll also be sending out the video link one week ahead of Valentine’s Day so that if you would like to watch ahead and plan your big meal you’ll feel prepared and ready to cook! We’re here to remove any kitchen anxiety you may feel about the big day.

This special event is only available with our Recipe Kit.  This special Recipe Kit serves 2 and includes all of the items that you will need to prepare dinner, premeasured for your convenience (excluding salt, pepper & oil).  You will receive a prep & equipment list and recipes with your kit, as well as electronically 7-days prior so that you can make sure you have all of the necessary equipment to make your meal a success!

Recipe kits can ONLY be picked up the day of the class, Sunday, Feb 14th between 1 p.m. – 4 p.m. We pack all recipes kits the day of class for the freshest of ingredients, therefore recipe kits are not available for early pick up.  The “Shop On Your Own” option is not available for this special event.

Ingredients:  We are bringing in special ingredients for this class and are therefore not able to make substitutions or changes.  If you do have special dietary needs, the recipes will be emailed out one week prior so that you can make any necessary adjustments at home.

What are we using?  In this class we will be using a Spanish-style Chorizo from Three Sisters Artisinal Meats, Duck Breasts from Maple Leaf Farms, French Duck Fat, Local Sawatch Butter, freshly baked baguettes from Bountiful Breads (Chef Laurie Carroll) and other fun & unique ingredients!
