On Saturday, April 21 the YMCA of the Pikes Peak Region, in partnership with Children’s Hospital Colorado, Colorado Springs, is holding a free community event to inspire parents and kids to stay physically and intellectually active all summer long.
The Y’s Healthy Kids Day is a national initiative to improve the health and well-being of kids and families, and features activities such as games, healthy cooking demonstrations, arts and crafts, gardening demonstrations, story time and more to motivate and teach families how to develop healthy routines at home.
Healthy Kids Day takes place at each of the following YMCA of the Pikes Peak Region locations: Briargate, Cottonwood Creek, Downtown, Garden Ranch, Memorial Park, Southeast and Tri-Lakes. Activities may vary at each location.
