Ice Cream Social and Melodrama

Join us to “hiss and boo” at the villains and cheer on the heroes of the performance! This a a fun event for all ages, and the playground will be open for use with parental supervision.

The melodrama is D.K. Molar, The Devious Dentist.

“Feeling a bit down in the mouth lately? Then this melodrama will surely put a smile on your face! The depraved dentist, D.K. Molar, and his noxious nurse, Nova Caine, have crafted a dastardly scam: after putting their patients to sleep with nitrous oxide, they remove gold crowns and replace them with fakes made of fool’s gold. With guaranteed laughs, the production does not disappoint.

It is presented by the Award Winning First Company of the First United Methodist Church.

Join us for an ice cream social at 4:30 p.m. and the melodrama at 5:00 p.m.

The event will be held outside in the Meditation Glen. Folding chairs will be provided but feel free to bring lawn chairs or blankets. The event will be moved indoors in case of inclement weather.
