Intro to Bobbin Lace Making

Take this class and learn something cool!

Bobbin lace is a traditional lace making technique that is much like braiding with many strands of thread or yarn. While it is being woven the lace work is supported by a large pillow. Historically, lace was made with very fine cotton, silk and linen threads, but in this class we will work with slightly larger yarns and patterns to make the work easier and quicker. In this class learn about bobbin lace supplies and equipment, how to start a project, and how to create a pattern
