We will provide you with a pre-warped (set up for weaving) rigid heddle loom, all the necessary tools, and a wide selection of yarns and other weavable stuff, in many textures and colors.
No prior weaving experience? No problem! I will show you everything you need to know.
After a brief introduction to the loom and process, indulge in nearly 2 hours of pure weaving bliss.
At the end of the session, you will cut your creation off the loom and take your handwoven fabric home with you.
What will it be? A scarf? Pillow cover? Wall art? Table runner? Tote bag? Cat toy? Time machine? It’s up to you!
These classes will introduce you to a new skill, concept or technique and are open to all levels.
The student may, however, be required to have a basic skill or have taken a certification class.
For example, for a flat-pattern drafting class one need not know anything about flat-pattern drafting but should have a basic understanding of the sewing machine.
