KOAA 5 Southern Colorado Health Fair

Take advantage of free and low cost health screenings, advice, and information at the KOAA 5 Southern Colorado Health Fair. Medical professionals will be performing health screenings and medical care from 7 a.m. till 12 p.m. at the Manitou Springs Community Congregational Church on Saturday, April 21. This community health event is free. A few health screenings and tests may require additional costs.

Anyone can attend the KOAA 5 Southern Colorado Health Fair. Fasting is no longer a requirement if you plan on drawing blood. Based on the most current research findings, the KOAA 5 Southern Colorado Health Fair Medical Advisory Committee has determined that fasting is optional for blood screenings. People with diabetes should not fast. If you plan on drawing blood at the Health Fair be sure to follow these guidelines:

• Drink plenty of water
• Diabetics should not fast
• Continue taking prescribed medications
• Must be 18 years of age or older to participate
