ABOUT THE PROGRAM
People have been inspired to make art in the Pikes Peak region for hundreds of years.
As part of the 10th annual local celebration of Arts Month, explore a few historical examples of creativity in the region, get a run-down of some of the present-day momentum in the arts community, and learn how the Cultural Office works to keep you connected to the arts.
With an assembly of 400 arts and cultural groups, the creative sector continues to be critical in telling and shaping the story of our area.
ABOUT THE PRESENTER
Jonathan Toman builds local and tourist arts audiences, and the Pikes Peak region’s visibility as an arts destination, using the marketing, communications, and storytelling platforms of the Cultural Office and its partnerships.
To that end, he spearheads the Cultural Office’s flagship cultural promotion & tourism program, Peak Radar – the local creative sector’s most powerful promotional tool.
An experienced storyteller and program manager (and Pikes Peak region native), Jonathan enjoys amplifying and illustrating the value of the region’s arts sector…and saying all puns that occur to him.
Bring your questions and ideas for this insightful conversation over lunch at the CSPM Annex (Plaza of the Rockies)
