MacLaren Community Stargazing Night presented by Thomas MacLaren School at ,

As part of the Cool Science Festival, join the Thomas MacLaren School community for a free evening of space and science exploration and stargazing.

Bring your lawn chairs and blankets. Park in the south parking lot and meet us on the plaza where we can welcome you.

Food trucks will be on hand for you to purchase dinner or snacks beginning at 5 p.m.

We will have pre-sunset activities such as homemade astrolabes to help determine the height of the North Star and make-you-own telescopes to assemble and reassemble.

The Mobile Earth and Space Observatory (MESO) will be setting up at 5 p.m.

The Colorado Springs Astronomical Society will be on hand to guide you in finding features of the night sky.

Bring your friends and family. All ages welcome.
