On Friday, May 4, meet Hunter-Wolff Gallery’s multi-talented Colorado Springs artist Maria Battista. Don’t miss this opportunity to get a close-up look at Maria’s newest collection of sculptures and other featured work.
Maria is an accomplished sculptor, jewelry designer and fabricator. Her talent with fabrication is one of many of her accomplishments as an artist.
Maria works in three divergent technical media: silver and gold smithing, life drawing, and sculpting. Maria places an emphasis in each of these mediums on the human figure as a central tool of expression.
As a jewelry artist, she specializes in custom projects that involve a profound collaboration with the client, and discernment about what may be emerging and seeking expression in consciousness.
Set aside some time to see how Maria balances her many talents, and stand side by side with while she orchestrates a live sculpting demonstration.
Check in early to get a close up view of several new stone and bronze sculptures by Maria as well as a number of freshened collections by Hunter-Wolff Gallery’s top artists, including Dena Peterson, Clifford T. Bailey, Marlene Kort, Fred Lunger, Cassandra Sharon and many others.
