Master Photographer To Teach About Critique & Competition
Please note, this event has expired.
Master Photographer Jeff Johnson will talk to area photographers about “Critiques & Competitions, Why You Need to Consider Both for Photographic Growth” .
The program will have two components, the critique, and entering a competition. The first component is how a photograph is critiqued, constructively and positively using the 12 elements of design.
In the second component, Johnson will talk about the processes of preparing for and entering a competition.
As part of the presentation, Johnson will critique photographs submitted by photographers who would like a live critique. Each interested photographer may submit a maximum of two photographs (3500 pixels on the longest side and 72 dpi) to email@example.com by 5 p.m. on Friday, July 7. The photos will be given to Johnson the night of the presentation.
Johnson, who earned the Master Photographer Title from the Professional Photographers of America through high quality imagery and intense participation in the photographic industry, will be showing how positive and knowledgeable critique can move photography forward.
