May 1st First Friday at Boulder Street Gallery

New works in watercolor, oil, and acrylic by 26 members of the Pikes Peak Watercolor Society. May's featured artists are Laurel Bahe and GeorgiAnna Carpenter. First Friday Opening Reception, May 1st, 5pm. This exhibit continues through May 30th.

Laurel is noted for her unique owl portraits in particular, exhibiting in numerous local and regional shows, and several local galleries. Whimsical, feisty, lively, bold, and always interesting are adjectives that best describe her work in both watercolor and acrylic. 

GeorgiAnna's paintings in both watercolor and batik cover a variety of subjects including still-lifes, landscapes, and nature, continually experimenting with new techniques and styles.
