Mochitsuki Japanese New Year’s Rice Cake Pounding Event

A free, fun, and tasty annual Japanese cultural event hosted by the Japan-America Society of Southern Colorado and co-sponsored by the German, Russian, and East Asian Languages Department of Colorado College.

Adults and children are welcome to help pound rice and sample mochi rice cakes.

This is an outdoor event, but it will be moved indoors in case of inclement weather.

Free parking and admission but donations are welcome.
