Bassist and composer Jason Crowe has performed or recorded with a variety of artists including Marvin Stamn, Ernie Watts, Randy Brecker, The New York Voices, Crystal Gayle, Vince Gill, Amy Grant, Faith Hill, Wynona Judd, Celine Dion, and CeCe Winans.
He has performed at Carnegy Hall, the Grand Ole Opry and numerous Jazz Festivals including Monterrey, Montreux, Vail, Telluride, and The North Sea Jazz Festival. As a former member of the USAF Academy Band and the Falconaires, Jason has recorded extensively including projects featuring the music of Sammy Nestico, the Grammy recognized recording Sharing the Freedom, and most recently The Long Blue Line.
Andy Burtschi has worked as a professional bassist for over thirty years in Dallas, Memphis, Nashville, Illinois, and Colorado Springs.
Andy studied at the Univ. of Evansville and the Univ. of North Texas. He was an adjunct professor of music at Millikin Univ. from 1998 to 2008 and is on the faculty of the Colorado Springs Conservatory. Andy’s recording projects include Jazz America with The Beatniks (his own group), and recordings with Randall Reyman; Sam Crain, Wayne Wilkinson, and contemporary Christian artists Jared Anderson, Michael Gungor (Grammy-nominated Beautiful Things), and Shannon Wexelberg. Andy has performed with Alan Joseph, Joe Sciallo and the Deep End, Marcie and Ed Hureau, Susan Rissman, Nube Nueve, New Vintage Jazz, Thomas Dawson, Mark Bovee, Lila Mori and others.
Marc Neihof is a virtuoso bassist with the rare ability to excel in two worlds: jazz and classical music.
Marc trained at the Peabody Conservatory of Music and the Univ. of Miami. He played with the Annapolis Symphony in D.C. while honing his jazz skills with top East Coast musicians. Marc joined the Colorado Springs Symphony in 1993, and also became an active force on the Colorado jazz scene. Marc has played or recorded with Arturo Sandoval, Herb Ellis, Ron Miles, Keith Oxman, Joe Bonner and more, and regularly performs in China, Dubai and India. Marc teaches bass at Colorado College and the University of Colorado.
