Music Monday: Jazz Jam Session hosted by Guitarist Colin McAllister

Jazz fans and musicians alike enjoy the variety, excitement, and spontaneity of a live jazz jam session.

Open to all jazz musicians – prepare a jazz standard or two of your choice and come down to the Armadillo Ranch to sit in with Colin McAllister and the Trilix Jazz Trio!   (This is a structured jam session, NOT an open-mic).

Colin McAllister is an Assistant Professor of Music at the University of Colorado, Colorado Springs. His performances as a guitarist and conductor have been hailed as “sparkling….delivered superbly” (San Francisco Chronicle), “ravishing” (San Diego Union Tribune), and “an amazing tour de force” (San Diego Story). His most recent recording of all-original compositions with the Hennessy 6 jazz sextet was released in 2021 on Summit Records.

Colin will be joined by bassist Jason Crowe and drummer Randy Bowen.
