National Alpaca Farm Days

Our ranch will be open both September 25 and 26 for anyone to come meet and learn about alpacas. You get to learn about alpacas from Peter or Barbara Ziek who have 21 years experience raising alpacas. You get to meet over 100 alpacas ranging in age from 7 weeks to 21 years old in all 16 color shades alpacas come in. Your will get a chance to see why alpaca is one of the luxury fibers and get to feed some alpacas.

We will have some craft demonstrations like spinning alpaca or introductory felting. Kids can take home pictures of alpacas to color or to glue alpaca fiber to. Our farm store will be open for anyone wishing to see or buy items made of alpaca, many of which are made or produced specifically for Wild Hair Alpacas.

Masks will be required for the store, and anyone not vaccinated is requested to wear a mask anywhere on the ranch.
