National School Choice Week: 'How to Improve Your Parenting Journey'

In celebration of National School Choice Week, Parents Challenge is sponsoring a complementary dinner, parenting presentation, and celebration for adults. This free event offers adults the opportunity to learn new guidelines and tools to achieve improved family relationships, positive behavior in children, and general problem solving skills for family members.

The presentation will cover “How to Improve Your Parenting Journey” with keynote speaker Sandra Kwesell MSC, MFCT, author of the Pillars for Success parenting program.

After a lifetime career working with families dealing with every type of challenging behavior in children and youth of all ages, Sandra Kwesell has organized and simplified the insights and techniques of her training program into the 9 Pillars that successfully help parents understand:

1. Why kids behave in certain ways
2. What parents can do to reverse challenging behavior
3. How to maintain the kind of success that allows families to thrive… and not just survive

Parents will learn the three causes for defiant and challenging behavior in children and what to do about them during the January 23 presentation.
