'Night Scenes'

Chris Alvarez’ paintings of scenes at night show us a world we often don’t pay attention to.

There are shadows and reflections that may cause us to hurry along without noticing the beauty within them. Many of the locations are local:  across a street from Poor Richard’s after a rainstorm, General Palmer’s statue seen while sitting in traffic, cars parked along a city street on the Westside.

A closing reception for this show is scheduled for Saturday, January 29, from 12 – 3 pm.  Chris will be at the gallery to talk about his work.
