Finding Our Voices provides art workshops on the second Saturday of the month to survivors of sexual assault and their allies.

November’s Art Workshop: “Gratitude Box”

This workshop is about acknowledging the good things we have in our lives. We’ll be creating our own, customized gratitude boxes where we can place items or messages that represent things that bring us joy and celebrate our successes. On days when we might feel down or sad, opening up a gratitude box and engaging with the treasures inside, can help us to remember how strong we really are.

This workshop is facilitated by Kim Griffis, MA-AT., a registered Psychotherapist / Art Therapist

Kim is a survivor of early childhood sexual abuse and domestic violence, and has utilized art as a personal healing tool for many years. She currently provides counseling and art therapy services to individuals and groups, including active military personnel and veterans.
