Open Mic Night

Call for music at Penrose Library downtown! The event is scheduled to take place in our Outdoor Carnegie Garden on Thursday, July 21st. Performances start at 6:00PM, and last until 8:00PM. Attendees can bring snacks, beverages, friends, and family. This is a free event.

Mics and speakers provided, but performers may bring their own equipment. Participants can sign up in person on the day of the event starting at 5:00PM. 15 minute set. Opportunities are based on a first come first serve basis. Lyrics should be appropriate for all ages. Any style of music and level of experience is welcome. Snacks and beverages will be made available.

If it rains the day of the Open Mic Night, then the event will be moved inside Penrose Library to the Carnegie Reading Room near Special Collections (Main Floor).
