Our City: Our Voice

"Our City: Our Voice" art exhibition will include individual art as well as a collaborative work of many connected canvases, individually created to form one large "quilt" of paintings. There will be paintings from many groups around Colorado Springs. Those who do not think of themselves as artists are welcome to contribute. Canvases are being offered free of charge to those who want to participate in this installation. If you are working with a special community group we welcome work to represent that group. Imagine your experience in Colorado Springs, what your hope is for the city and tell that story on canvas. Work intake is May 12 from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. The opening reception will be Friday, May 30, 2014 from 6:00 – 8:00 p.m. and is open to the public.
