Painting With Encaustic

We have added an extra hour to this popular hands-on one day workshop! Experience first-hand a vast array of mixed media techniques using encaustic (a natural-based paint made with beeswax, pure pigments and tree resin). Beginner or experienced, non-painters and painters alike (from abstract to realism) are invited to enjoy this fun and easy art form in the “hottest” new medium. An optional materials list is provided, but all you need to bring is your playful spirit and an enthusiasm for experimentation, spontaneity and surprise!

A $20 materials fee is payable to the instructor on the day of class for all your supplies.

Attendees of this workshop may register for Sunday’s Encaustic Open Studio (one or both).
