Photography and Mixed Media Paintings by Brian W. Tryon

Brian’s photography travel series spans many locations, the feature of this particular series is Wyoming- The Grand Tetons and Yellowstone.

The black and white and sepia photographs are his visual representation of the area. His mixed media paintings start with one of his photographs mounted or photo transferred to reclaimed wood.

Brian then goes back in with acrylics, oil, latex, stains, aerosol, paint markers or whatever mediums he’s feeling at the moment to abstractly juxtapose what his minds eye sees. All of the work is up for viewing and purchase.

The exhibition is hanging in the back gallery and party room of Red Gravy Restaurant.
