Photography Workshop: Exploring and Engaging the Foundations of Photography

This is a series of workshops for novices to explore using your camera and improving your photos. There will a mix of instruction, Q & A and some hands on. Topics for each class will vary and include: shooting modes, camera settings, composition basics, some legal issues, editing basics, overall workflow basics and more. The goal is to answer these two questions: “What do I see that captures my attention?” and “How do I best take the picture?”

Be sure to bring a notebook, your camera (a manual if you have one) and a couple photos. You will leave with some knowledge on your camera and more of an understanding of peer review.
