'Pikes Peak, America's Mountain-100 Paintings'

Jack Denton invites everyone to a special art exhibition at the Garden of the Gods Resort and Club!

A landscape painter of 50 years, Jack Denton, moved to Colorado Springs in 2012 and began on an epic odyssey of 6 years to create a monumental painting series of America’s Mountain!

Mr. Denton has set up his easel for thousands of hours across the Front Range to interpret Pikes Peak’s vast majestic beauty in his loose painterly style with emphasis on luminosity.

In his previous 29 solo exhibitions, Mr. Denton has traveled and produced art that featured such locations as Montana, Grand Canyon, Mexico, Maine, Russia, Europe and Morocco.

This series is comprised of compositions that are plein air, alla prima and massive studio canvases from his studio in the Garden of the Gods.

In addition, Jack Denton will have copies to sign of his recently published book of these works, “Pikes Peak America’s Mountain- 100 Paintings by Jack Denton”.
