Pikes Peak Opera League presents its annual Fall Fest featuring a French-themed dinner, cash wine bar, silent auction and soprano, Victoria Hansen as Julia Child in Hoiby’s light opera “Bon Appétit”.

Pikes Peak Opera League presents its annual Fall Fest with a French-themed dinner, cash wine bar and Silent Auction.

The entertainment has local soprano and former Colorado College voice instructor, Victoria Hansen portraying Julia Child in Hoiby’s light opera “Bon Appétit” with Dan Brink at the piano.

She impersonates the renowned animated chef perfectly, baking a real chocolate cake while chatting at a kitchen counter, sipping out of a wine bottle and singing difficult music – all at the same time.

Tickets benefit the Opera League’s Vocal Arts Scholarship Fund, specifically in support of Opera Theatre of the Rockies’ award-winning Opera Theatre Goes to School program.
