PlanCOS Open House Meetings

We will build a great city that matches our scenery; planning land development decisions for the next 20 years takes careful attention and PlanCOS, the update to the City’s Comprehensive Plan, needs your feedback.

For the first time since 2001, the City of Colorado Springs, together with City Council, has created a comprehensive plan for the city’s future. The draft of PlanCOS, comprised of contributions from thousands of residents, is now available online for further public review and input through August 6th, a series of seven open house meetings, hosted by city councilors, will be held in July for the public to view and comment on the draft.

“This is the perfect time to join the conversation and truly help shape the future of our city,” said Bennett who will co-host one of the seven open house meetings.

These events will have an open house format, so stop in between 6 and 8 p.m. PlanCOS chapters will be available for comment, councilors will give an introduction, new Colorado Springs neighborhoods map will be on display, and light refreshments will be provided.
