Plantation Slave Weavers Remember Saturday, May 7, 2016 11AM-Noon Colorado Springs fiber artist and author, Mary Madison, will tell stories of the Southern plantation slave weavers and textile workers. She will present a slide presentation and oral histories taken from former slaves. Copies of her book, “Plantation Slave Weavers Remember”, will be available for those interested.
