Poetry 719 Day: Celebration of Poetry in the Community

Join Poetry719 as we honor poetry throughout the city! We’ll have special guests from multiple poetry organization, readings from poet laureates of the past, workshops, open mic, vendors, and a feature from Poetry719.

Schedule

• 11:00 a.m. – Welcome and vendors
• 12:00 p.m. – Special announcement
• 12:30 p.m. – Poet Laureates of the past reading
• 1:00-3:00 p.m. – Workshop with Susan from Hear Here in Penrose library
• 1:00 p.m. – Open Mic
• 2:00 p.m. – Poetry organizations’ performances
• 3:00 p.m. – Vendors & closing
