Proxima Parada

Próxima Parada blends soulful and uplifting melody with hard-hitting rhythm into a sound distinctly their own.

They continue to grow and evolve, drawing influence from contemporaries like Vulfpeck and Lake Street Dive, classic artists like Ray Charles and Bob Dylan, as well as jazz, gospel, and the music of West and South Africa.

They independently released their last album, Big Seven, in 2017. The single, Time In A Circle, won a New Times Music Award for Best R&B/Blues song and currently has over 1,500,000 plays on Spotify alone.

The starting lineup for Próxima Parada includes Nick Larson (vocals, keys, guitar), Kevin Middlekauff (bass), Josh Collins (guitar), and Aaron Kroeger (drums).
