He is one of the most versatile upright and electric bass players in the United States in the field of jazz, fusion, pop and rock music. He is also an active writer, arranger, and bandleader. Colin’s “Quartet of Jazz Death” (2014) funk/fusion project has been critically acclaimed on NoTreble.com, TalkBass.com, Bass Musician Magazine, Bass Quarterly, Bass Player Magazine and nominated for “Best Jazz Group 2015” in the Colorado Springs Independent 2015 Indie Music Awards.
