Queer Open Mic featuring Glitterporn

Get ready for a night of incredible performances at the Queer Open Mic featuring local band Glitterporn! Join us on June 21 at Icons Piano bar for an unforgettable night of poetry, music, and comedy.

Our event will be a celebration of queer art and culture, featuring talented performers from the local community and beyond. With a focus on inclusivity and diversity, we welcome performers of all genders, sexualities, and identities to attend, though the stage is for LGBTQIA2+ voices.

Security info: We will have security present at the event. We will also be checking folks in at the door and checking bags – please keep that in mind if you are bringing a bag with you. The doors will be locked otherwise. This event is open to all ages, but please bring your ID.

COVID-19 info: We ask that this be a masked event so that those in our community who are immuno-compromised can be in attendance. Masks can be removed when speaking at the mic.

Glitterporn is a small band from Colorado Springs. Their stage presence and music is unlike any I have ever seen before. They have been my favorite band since the first time I saw them live at Fritzy’s, and it is an honor to feature them at this month’s queer open mic. If you have never been to a Glitterporn show, trust me when I say that you won’t want to miss this.

Keep Colorado Springs Queer is an LGBTQIA2+ open mic founded in 2016 by Nico Wilkinson and Han Sayles. The event series seeks to elevate the talented LGBTQIA2+ community of Colorado Springs by providing a space in which they are seen, heard, and appreciated.
