Reformation Hymn Fest and Oktoberfest presented by Immanuel Lutheran Church at Immanuel Lutheran Church, Colorado Springs CO

Back by popular demand, Immanuel Lutheran Church will host a Reformation Hymn Fest in the sanctuary to commemorate the 502nd anniversary of the Reformation. Following the Hymn Fest in the Gym next door, all are invited to a free Oktoberfest dinner.

Guest organist, Paul Soulek, Director of Music for St. John’s Lutheran Church and School in Seward NE, will lead the gathering in current and historic Lutheran hymns.

The audience will have the opportunity to sing along with the volunteer mass choir. Music will be provided. If interested, come at 1 p.m. to practice.

Following the Hymn Fest, all are invited to attend a free Oktoberfest dinner in the Organ Gym next door complete with brats, hotdogs, German side dishes, and beer (Root Beer that is).

Entertainment will be provided by Dave Weesner & team on the Joel Kremer Theatre Organ, the largest theater pipe organ in Colorado. Entrance in the alley. Additional parking entrance from Prospect Street.

A freewill offering will be gratefully accepted at both events to help one of our members pay for her ongoing cancer treatments.
