Restorative Mediation (#2063)

Never underestimate the power of an apology. The Restorative Mediation Project was created to provide a restorative type of interaction between responsible parties and victims in cases of personal injury or medical malpractice. In this class, we will learn how restorative mediation has been successful in resolving disputes, with the human side of the conflict as an alternative or adjunct to litigation; how it deals cooperatively and constructively with personal injury and medical error claims; and how it addresses the harms and needs created by these events. As an experienced mediator, Ms. Evans will explain the Restorative Mediation Project and its vision and goals for the community.
