ROMANTICIZING PRAXIS: I think it's off Nevada

The Machine Shop’s First Friday May event features “Romanticizing Praxis: I think it’s off Nevada” by Elizabeth Selby.  This body of work explores how a shift in perspective or lighting shows the subtle allure of the everyday, and depicts a view through rose colored glasses. Elizabeth was fascinated by the mysterious and beautifully saturated whispers of the past which she has found sprinkled around our city of Colorado Springs.

*Romanticizing Praxis: I think it’s off Nevada* is the culmination of a three-month residency at *the Machine Shop*, a collaborative workspace for creative studios in downtown Colorado Springs.

*One night only! *Opening reception is *6-9 p.m. on Friday, May 6th* at 4 South Wahsatch Avenue.
