Silent Book Club

Often with traditional book clubs there’s the scramble to finish the assigned book and the pressure to have something smart to say. This is a social book club without the pressure, where you can have some time to get caught up on whatever book you’re reading, make some new friends, and enjoy an evening out—without any homework and without the pressure of having to contribute to discussion.

Schedule:

5 to 5:30 p.m.: Arrival, order drinks/food, social/share what you’re reading
5:30 to 6:30 p.m.: Quiet reading hour
6:30 to 7 p.m.: Optional socializing, or just keep reading
