Space Foundation Discovery Center’s 7th Birthday Celebration

For this special day we’ll have our Mars Robotics Laboratory open and celebrate with birthday party favors and participate in a celebratory rover challenge (balloon popping) to win prizes.

Plus, there’ll be a social media prize opportunity!

Our workshop will be Postcrossing through Space.

In celebration of World Space Week, we will be partnering with Postcrossing to discover how spacesuits connect us both to space, and the planet we’re leave behind during space travel.

Participate in our workshop and create your own spacesuit-themed postcard that will be sent all over the world through the Postcrossing platform.

The Postcrossing project is an online platform that allows anyone to exchange postcards from all over the world for free.

All ages are welcome! Materials to create your postcard are free with admission. You can purchase a postcard stamp, $0.35 cents (national) or $1.15 (international) in the Discovery Center Store for us to mail your final creation(s)!

You can create several postcards, if you wish.
