Spring Break Camps at the Zoo

Zoolympics- The Olympics may be in Russia this year, but our animals are still competing! Sign up for Zoolympics and see how you compare to our top athletes. If you think you could be a better athlete than some of our animals, consider signing up for Cheyenne Mountain Zoo’s spring break camp: Zoolympics! Think you can run faster than a rhino? Can you jump higher or further than a lynx? Penguins are excellent swimmers, do you think you are faster? The ice luge looks fast, but are the otters faster? All of our animals have some incredible abilities, some more extraordinary than you would expect! Come find out which animals would take home the gold medal in the animal Olympics! (Ages 5-7)

Junior Veterinarian– Do you want to be a veterinarian when you grow up? Want to study animal medicine and figure out how to help? The Junior Veterinarian spring break camp at Cheyenne Mountain Zoo will take you behind the scenes to see how and why zoo veterinarians are so important. How do you help a giraffe with a foot ache? How do tigers get vaccinations? How do you give a snake an x-ray? This camp will take a close look at just how animals get cared for here at Cheyenne Mountain Zoo!! (Ages 8-10)
