St. Andrew's Recitals: "Best of" Trios

There is different instrumentation for each trio on this program. Music from the Baroque, Classical, Romantic and 20^th century periods are presented, all of which use the piano as the common instrumental voice and, so, are called piano trios. The remaining voices are woodwinds: Phyllis White, flute, Joyce Hanagan, oboe, Jay Norman, clarinet, and strings, Elisa Wickes, violin, Anita Maresh, viola, and Veselka Kuzma and Pam Chaddon, cello.

The piano, played by Carol Wilson, is the foundation for each of these compositions and the program includes trios (that are less often performed) by Loeillet, Kuhlau, Clara Schumann, Bruch and Gaubert.
