When hapless small-time drug-dealer Chris decides to have his mother murdered in hopes that the insurance money will cover his drug debts and keep him from being killed by loan sharks, he enlists the lethal assistance of dirty Dallas detective Joe Cooper, who moonlights as a contract killer – thereby unleashing a Texas twister of insanity he can't possibly control.
