On the 11th hour of the 11th day of the 11th month of 1918, an armistice between Germany and the Allied nations came into effect. Immanuel Lutheran Church commemorates the 100th anniversary of the signing of that armistice with a special Veterans Day program.
On Sunday, November 11, 2018 at 3:00 P.M. the 4th Infantry Division Band from Fort Carson will participate in a program with Jim Calm playing the Joel Kremer Theatre Pipe Organ, the largest in Colorado. The program will provide a brief history and importance of Veterans Day, including the presentation of the flag by a color guard from Fort Carson.
