On the 11th hour of the 11th day of the 11th month of 1918, an armistice between Germany and the Allied nations came into effect. Immanuel Lutheran Church commemorates the 100th anniversary of the signing of that armistice with a special Veterans Day program.

On Sunday, November 11, 2018 at 3:00 P.M. the 4^th Infantry Division Band from Fort Carson will participate in a program with Jim Calm playing the Joel Kremer Theatre Pipe Organ, the largest in Colorado. The program will provide a brief history and importance of Veterans Day, including the presentation of the flag by a color guard from Fort Carson. The famous band, under the direction of CW2 Robert Bruns, will feature selections played by the band and the organ separately, but will also showcase

Due to construction on E. Pikes Peak, access to parking and entrance to the Gym is from Prospect Ave. west of the Landmark School, through the alley behind 828 E. Pikes Peak Avenue.
