Summer Cartooning Classes

Students will learn to draw famous cartoon characters using professional techniques. They will be amazed at how quickly and easily they can learn to draw by doing something everyone can do, draw basic shapes!

They will learn to use those basic shapes to turn them into works of art! In this fun and entertaining class, students will see their drawing skills grow and improve and their love of drawing explode!

They will be able to amaze their family and friends with their new artistic skills!

Philip Lane is a professional Comic Book Artist, Illustrator, Cartoonist and Logo Designer. Philip has taught both children and adults the basics of drawing at Rocky Mountain College of Art and Design as well as with the local school districts, including D-20, D-11, D-49, D-38, D-12; at Bemis/Colorado College and with The Club at Flying Horse.

His own love of art and drawing has inspired him in his teaching by making it fun and funny while giving clear-cut instructions that anyone can follow. Philip has been teaching for over 22 years and has enjoyed seeing people of all level of talent learn to love drawing and become better artists.
