The Little London Winds is happy to present their 2015 Summer Concert Series: Catch Your Dreams. This series of family-friendly, free concerts features a variety of music. The nine weeks of concerts begin on Monday, June 22, 2015 at 7:00 p.m. Each Monday night, The Little London Winds will perform a selection of pieces based around a theme.
The Little London Winds is honored to be sharing their Patriotic Reflections concert with the 101st Army Winds, under the direction of Staff Sergeant Sean Hedding. Both The Little London Winds and the 101st Army Winds will play a selection of patriotic music and then close the concert with a joint performance of The 1812 Overture and The Stars and Stripes Forever March.

This concert series is played outside in the pavilion at Soda Springs Park in Manitou Springs. The Little London Winds encourages audience members to bring a picnic dinner as well as folding chairs. No tickets are necessary and the concert is free and open to the public.
Each week The Little London Winds holds a Conductors Auction during the concert. The winning audience member gets the chance to conduct The Little London Winds performing a march. Photos are taken and the audience member is also awarded a keepsake conductor’s baton. All donations made during the concert and during the Conductors Auction go to The Little London Winds, as it is a non-profit organization [501(c)].
Established in 1992 by a small group of musicians, The Little London Winds has grown to 40 members and is now considered Colorado Springs’ premier wind ensemble. Director Paul Jacobson is a local music educator and composer. Membership in the group is by audition or invitation only.
