Autumn opens with a look back at the warm days of Summer. Composer Michael Daugherty, whose Fire and Blood Violin Concerto thrilled our audience last season, takes us to Hollywood’s Sunset Strip, exploring Tinseltown’s hottest locale through an entire night from sunset to dawn. The open spaces of Brahms’ Double Concerto are the perfect meeting place for the Chamber Orchestra’s Concertmaster, Jacob Klock, and Principal Cellist, Gerald Miller, and we end our celebration of the outdoors in the open fields of Beethoven’s Pastorale Symphony. Let the music transport you to one last warm Summer day before Winter blows in.

Saturday’s performance will be held at 7 pm at Broadmoor Community Church and Sunday’s performance will take place at 2:30 pm at First Christian Church
