Super Hero 5K Fun Run & Walk

BE a Hero, RUN for a Hero/ Super Hero 5K fun run & walk! October 5, 2014 Goose Gossage Park 1pm-5pm

We supply the Super Hero Cape & Super Hero Mask for each registrant and you supply the desire to run/walk for your Super Hero! You're more than welcome to wear your own special Super Hero Costume.

USA Cares Mission: USA Cares exists to help bear the burdens of service by providing post-9/11 military families with financial and advocacy support in their time of need.

Whether you a serious runner, casual runner, walker, speed walker, stroller pusher or baby carrier, this is the 5K for you and your family and friends! It'll be a celebration of all the Super Heroes that make our life just a little sweeter and this world a much better place to live! Furry family member must sit this 5K out – sorry no dogs allowed.

Do you have a Super Hero that you'd like to honor? Possibly your Super Hero is enlisted, deployed, fighting cancer, battling an illness or waiting for you in Heaven. Or, is you Super Hero dedicated to bringing awareness to an illness or a mission? Maybe it is your child, mom, husband or best friend that you'd like to honor during this 5K? Is it you? Are you a Super Hero by battling a war of your own? It doesn't matter who your Super Hero is, what matters is are you ready to honor them by running or walking this 5K?

Water and first aid station will be provided on the course.

A finish celebration will include food courtesy of Colorado Mountain Brewery and will be supplied to all registered finishers along with (1) coupon for a CMB craft beer, or wine or CMB rootbeer to all finishers & live music!! Yes – we have a celebration at the finish line to honor you and your Super Hero.

A wall of Super Heroes will be on-site for everyone to honor their Super Hero. Write a note, words of encouragement, poems, or post a dedication. Would you like to add a photo of your hero? – please do!

Refunds will be permitted 7 days prior to the event

You are allowed to give your registration to another participant, please have them arrive a little early and let the registration volunteers know.

Yes, we love & encourage runners/walkers in Tutu's, Super Hero costumes, and of course their military attire, anything that is young age appropriate! Each person registered will be supplied with a red super hero cape & a super hero mask.
