TEDx Colorado Springs

TEDx (Technology, Education & Design) are independently organized local events that are focused on one mission: bringing communities, organizations and individuals together to share “ideas worth spreading.”

These events are put on by the community, for the community and are largely based on volunteer work reinforcing the core message of motivating and cultivating growth and change amongst individuals and communities.

This year’s TEDx Colorado Springs event, which will take place at Pikes Peak Center for the Performing Arts is being organized and produced by local business owner, Steve Moraco, who runs a stock photography service of pictures of Colorado Springs.

“TEDx is a cultural event for Colorado Springs that ideally will challenge the audience, make them think, and expose them to new things happening in the world,” said Moraco.

From more than 100 applicants, Moraco and his team have carefully selected the final panel of speakers for TEDx Colorado Springs.

Selection criteria demanded the speakers have an idea that serves others, offers a different perspective of the world, and ultimately presents an idea worth spreading.
